About Me

Let me share with you more about myself.

Being vulnerable online can be scary. It could be used against me and I could find myself regretting sharing so much.

In reality though, I find that being vulnerable and open connects me with exactly the right kind of people.

Martin - The (Sometimes Reluctant) Human

I’m a very proud dad to two awesome children – and a dog-father to my god-puppy who I take out a few days a week.

While I may not be in my physical prime, I love to play squash, tennis and badminton and I train occasionally for running marathons.

I’ve got a very quirky sense of humour and I handle life’s challenges through laughter.

I’m an ENFJ personality (The Protagonist”). I’m confident and I love getting in front of an audience.

I’m sociable and am always looking for unusual activities to explore, especially treasure hunts, escape rooms and spontaneous adventures.

Although I was born in England, I lived in Bangkok for 15 years and consider myself a bit of an alien in this curious country. I gave up trying to learn social norms a long time ago and relish the quirks of British culture and my inability to conform to social norms.

Martin - The Healer, Therapist & Coach

It took a divorce then an 11-month incarceration at a category B prison change my life substantially enough that I’d walk away from my old life and train as a healer.

I’ve had an interest and background in hypnosis and hypnotherapy for over 25 years but it was mostly as a hobby.

I emerged from my divorce very frustrated that I didn’t have the skills to save my marriage, and I was wracked with guilt that I wasn’t physically there to help my children get through a very hard time in their lives.

Many therapists start their career as a coping mechanism to escape their own inner-turmoil.  It’s a distraction and perhaps a comfort to see a world of other hurt people, and to feel proud that they are able to help them.  I was no exception to this and whist I know I’m still very much on my own healing journey, I’m happy to embrace the realities of life being a challenge.

I don’t want to hide my own struggles from you.  I don’t want to market myself as a guy who knows all the answers as I’m learning so much every day.

What I do have to offer you though is experience, sincerity and authenticity.

Hypnosis seems to really be my forte.  I am constantly amazed at how much I’m able to facilitate sessions with clients so that they get the most profound and valuable learnings.

I consider myself quite a judicious therapist.  I’ve learn from many extreme and – often conflicting – teachers where I take what works, discard what doesn’t.  I explore, experiment and use my intuition to break new ground every day.

I’m constantly studying, reading and practicing but the skills and trainings I’ve studied or have experience with includes:

Traditional Hypnotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Metaphysical Hypnosis, NLP Master Practitioner Training, Spirit Releasement Therapy, Conversational Hypnosis, Ekman Micro-Expressions Training, Spiritual Journeywork, Robbins-Madanes Coaching, The Simpson Protocol, Hypnotherapy for PTSD, How to Mend a Broken Heart, Time-Based Techniques, The Loveday Method, QHHT Level 1 & 2, The Swan Protocol, Automatic Writing, The Blitz Protocol, Beyond Quantum Healing, Quantum Journey Hypnosis, Conversational Hypnosis and even Stage Hypnosis.

"We are all messed up. Some people are just better at hiding it"

"Every day feels like being part of a Harry Potter Movie"

Martin - The Spirit

Don’t worry, I don’t have a messiah complex!  I’m one of many people who’s gone through my life’s challenges and come through with a broader perspective on what my current earth-bound life means to me.

My spiritual journey began after living an easy and perhaps superficial life in Bangkok. My business was running well, I was happily married and had an amazing relationship with my wife and young children.

Life took a dramatic turn after we all relocated to England a few years ago.

In the space of just 4 years I went through; a horrific and unexpected divorce, suffered domestic abuse, lost my business during COVID, was imprisoned for a crime I did not commit and, just as I was trying to start my life afresh, I got entangled in a narcissistic relationship that was especially painful and hard to break free from.

My spiritual awakening happened in prison, when I felt like I’d reached rock-bottom. I was always a fighter and, this time I just had to let go of trying to control this unpredictable world.

There were a lot of lessons learnt on this journey and I’m committed to helping other navigate through their own journeys.

I grew up scientifically-minded, atheist and very sceptical of spiritual beliefs.  My recent experiences have taken me on a journey I’d never have predicted and every day feels like being part of a Harry Potter movie sometimes!

I recognise that the universe gives me two gifts very consistently.  The first is that the lessons I need to learn come very quicky – often from random comments friends or strangers might impart on me, or a book that just happens to come into my life when I most need it.

The second gift is that I’ve become a magnet to the right people – either people I connect with or people who I’m able to help.

Martin - The Speaker & Author

Despite being shy, I’ve always loved getting up on stage.  Now I’m using my voice for good.

2025 is a breakthrough year for me.  It began when I was got a taste of podcasting, initially as a guest, but soon after I have started my own weekly podcast called “Spiritual Healing Cloud”.

I’ve hosted some incredible guests already and especially enjoy my own solo episodes where I can talk, unfiltered about everything I’m passionate about.

I’m a very passionate member of Toastmasters International and I am using this as my platform to practice and perfect speeches I want to share with the world.

I’m building up my portfolio of specialist topics.  Currently I speak about;

Spiritual bypassing and toxic spirituality, Male domestic abuse, wrongful imprisonment, finding happiness in the darkest places, spiritual hypnosis, plant medicines, lucid dreaming, escaping narcissistic abuse and the many lessons I’ve learnt on my own journey.

I’m also writing my memoirs.  It would be great to have these completed by the end of the year although with, podcasting, speaking and helping my clients I’m happy to not commit to any deadlines right now.

My ambition is to get my book published, travel the world speaking, coaching and helping people and I’m taking steps to get myself onto a TED Talk eventually.

I want to inspire people – especially men – to get more comfortable sharing their vulnerabilities and I want people to realise that they don’t need to fight their challenges alone.

My Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee

Legally and ethically no doctor nor therapist can ever guarantee that you’ll be absolutely healed 100% but here’s what I do guarantee .

I guarantee that I will match your willingness 100%.
If you come to me absolutely committed to healing I’ll work tirelessly until I know that you’ve got everything you need.

I guarantee that I won’t emerge you from trance until both your superconscious mind and you conscious mind tell me clearly that you’re totally satisfied with your session.

It’s essential for me that I follow up with every client. I’ll check-in with you the next day, I’ll check in with you after a week, a month, 3 months, 6 months, a year … to make certain that you’re doing well and that your issues don’t resurface. If, by any chance they do – I’ll take responsibility in helping you more.

This might sound crazy but, once we’ve worked together on an issue I don’t expect to ever see you again for that issue. What really does matter to me is that you have a great experience, that you update me on how your life has improved and that perhaps you’ll introduce me to more clients I can help in the future.

For me, waking up every day to positive testimonials, knowing how much I can help others is why I do what I do.
